About Our Founders

Adam Explorer is a dynamic youth mentoring and training provider founded in 2016 by Muhammad Dzulkifly Ahmad, an experienced engineer and youth mentor, and his wife, Ustazah Karmilah Hafid, a seasoned madrasah educator and former principal at En Naeem Mosque Madrasah. Driven by their shared passion to provide a pathway for youth, in particular youth-at-risk, to discover their true potential and become catalysts of change in their lives and communities, they embarked on this inspiring journey. 

Drawing from his engineering background, Dzul recognized the power of problem-solving challenges that foster critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork. With over two decades of coaching experience, particularly with youth-at-risk, he instills these core values in his mentees, enabling them to experience a sense of empowerment and achievement while realizing their capabilities and untapped potential. 

His passion for helping the youth led him to curate a bespoke core program, P.A.C.E - Personal Development, Athlete Development, Community Development, and Entrepreneurship Development, which allows participants to dive deep to discover their potential and excel in these areas. Dzul's unwavering dedication to this purpose has been recognized through prestigious accolades, including the Singapore SME 500 Award in 2022 and the Coaching Inspiration Award, which he received from her Excellency Mdm Halimah Yacob, President of the Republic of Singapore.

In parallel, Ustazah Karmilah, leveraging her extensive experience as a madrasah educator and principal, saw the immense value of teaching Arabic to empower our youth. Understanding the significance of language as a bridge to cultural appreciation and deeper understanding, she plays a pivotal role in nurturing linguistic skills among Adam Explorer's participants.

Adam Explorer's impact extends beyond the academy's walls, as Dzul's transformative work has reached various organizations such as the Singapore Prisons , Mendaki CLF, Mendaki Youth Mentoring, Tanah Merah Prison School, Singapore Boys Home, Muhammadiyah Welfare Home, Triathlon Singapore, Sportcares, Active Sg and ITE. Having personally experienced the transformative effects of mentoring and coaching as a once-youth-at-risk himself, Dzul wholeheartedly believes in the potential of every young individual to achieve their dreams.

Together, Muhammad Dzulkifly and Ustazah Karmilah have created Adam Explorer. On this extraordinary platform, mentorship, training, and linguistic education intertwine to unlock the untapped potential of youth, paving the way for brighter futures and meaningful contributions to society.
